Slow Food OC's "Dig In" Day

on Saturday, Sep25th 2010

[9:30am to 1:30pm]

The Grain Project is grateful to Slow Food OC for building a vegetable raised bed,

Dig In on September 25, 2010 is when thousands of people across the country will break ground on projects that help create a world where food is good for you, good for the grower and good for the planet, and then break bread at the end of the day to celebrate. Slow Food chapters already have nearly 150 events in the works across the nation and Slow Food OC will be particpating by building a raised and terraced bed at the Jerome CommUnity Learning Garden and preparing, serving and sharing lunch with the group when project is complete.
